Case Study - Northland Regional Council

My name is Carl Cooper, and I work for the Northland Regional Council.
I am tasked with the ordering of equipment the Council requires.

We supply our Community Pest Control Areas within Northland, with these traps and other requirements, to maintain pest populations within each of their areas.

Through word of mouth, we heard of these traps, and contacted Pestgard, who supplied a sample of the trap.

“We have, since October 2012, now purchased over 750 of these traps, and have found the trap to be of high quality and easy to use”

We also have another program, ‘Project Possum’ that we run.

It is a scheme where school children learn about possum control, fur recovery and skinning. Part of their training is the use of traps.

We have found the Pestgard #1 Leg Hold Traps to be excellent for this purpose.

We will continue to purchase more of these traps as required, as new community groups or training continues to grow.
